A year has passed
And what is last
Becomes my past
Regrets join a queue
And what is new
Becomes my cue
Promises steal
And what is real
Becomes my steel
The year ahead
And what I said
Becomes my thread

2. To love those around me
3. To make my friends feel special because they are my friends
