Prices of award-winning writer’s first three poetry books slashed in lockdown sale

Award-winning UK writer Nic Outterside has reduced the prices of his first three poetry books by and average of 22% as part of a global lockdown sale.

Multi award-winning author, editor and poet Nic Outterside quit a star-studded 28 year career in journalism following a nervous breakdown in June 2013.

He began the slow road to recovery under the watchful eyes of his doctor and the support of his family. Part of the suggested therapy was for him to begin writing and talking about his life experiences.

His first paperback book The Hill – Songs and Poems of Darkness and Light, published in November 2014, was met with international acclaim and the first 1,000 print edition sold out.

In 2018, he published its sequel Another Hill – Songs and Poems of Love and Theft, which also received rave reviews.

Then earlier this year, at the helm of his own publishing house Time is an Ocean, Nic wrote and published: Hot Metal – Poems from the Print Room.

“The trilogy reflects the real me that emerged over seven years from that breakdown in 2013 and some 27 years since my first early attempts at poetry in 1993,” he says.

These books are a litany of love, loss, angst and observation fermented with ideas that swam around my head over all those years.

Now all three books are available at new sale prices, giving buyers an average saving of 22%.

The Hill – Songs and Poems of Darkness and Light is available as a large format paperback from Ebay at a reduced price of £1.50 ($1.98) (formerly £3.99)
