Nic Outterside is a widely acclaimed writer and editor. He is the winner of more than a dozen major press awards, including Scottish Journalist of the Year (twice), North of England Journalist of the Year and the recipient of a special award for investigative journalism.
In 1994, Nic had an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons, praising his investigative journalism, signed by 43 MPs.
Outside of work, Nic is devoted to his family, is a life-long pacifist and socialist, a huge fan of his hometown football team Brighton and Hove Albion and likes to immerse himself in the words and music of his muse, Bob Dylan.
But beyond that Nic is a survivor… he has survived child abuse, cancer, bereavement, bankruptcy, the loss of his home, divorce, denial of access to two of his children, assault, and a nervous breakdown.
